Decently Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

I stayed for a night in a King Room with a walk-in shower. The room was spacious and quiet, but the early housekeeping knock was unwelcome. The nearby shopping plaza was convenient for meals. A minor maintenance issue was quickly addressed.

Swimming pool. Spacious room. Cleanliness. Nice staff. Calm. Location. Car parking lot

My one night stay was comfortable and uneventful. Just the way I like it on a business trip. Thank you.

Friendly and accommodating staff.

The heating/air conditioning unit in my room was too noisy til I pulled the plug...for perfect quiet.

Hot tub availability.

The breakfast was great! A variety of delicious things you can choose from. The beds were so comfortable, and fresh, we felt asleep so quick in them. Nichole, the front desk lady that helped us the following day of our stay, was very pleasant, and helpful. She clear a second reservation that the previous lady the night before, did not canceled, and would of created problems on our trip. I am glad she was very proactive, and professional. The lady at the breakfast room was also very friendly, and accommodating.

The only thing I did not like was that we stayed at the smoking section of the hotel, but I never really specified nor requested a different section. And even though the hallway smell like cigarrettes, our room was very fresh, and free of cigarrette smell.

The location was particularly good and ideal because it was next to restaurants, stores, and entertainment as well as non-smoking areas. It also was convenient to services located in the area.

The location was convenient, only ten minutes from downtown, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a good variety, including fresh orange juice. There was an unfortunate incident with a low battery alarm that disrupted sleep early in the morning, and the smell of marijuana lingered in the halls, which could be off-putting. Interaction with some long-term guests was a bit unexpected, giving the atmosphere a mixed vibe.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was a basic, plain room, but it had many details that contributed to comfort and made it appear that there was a consciousness of both comfort and aesthetics. It seemed to have been planned with thoughtfulness. It is conveniently located. Although we didn't use it, the sitting area by the fireplace on the ground floor was very nice.

The room was small. The hot breakfast was mostly packaged or premixed food, and the fresh fruit that was advertised was not to be found. However, it was edible, and it was nice to have. It would have been very much nicer to have real coffee.

The hotel's close proximity to john muir national historic site, just over a mile away, and the beautiful radke martinez regional shoreline park makes it a fantastic spot for weekend explorations, allowing me to enjoy fine views while walking through the city. Although the breakfast could use some improvement, my stay was comfortable and clean.

It was near where I wanted to be, and near a grocery store. I had stayed there once before, and once my boss stayed there and woke up covered with ants. I liked that. There were no ants this time that I could discern. The breakfast was pretty standard fare, but the coffee a little better than I had anticipated.

The rooms were just adequate. There was a repair cart left in one of the rooms we checked into. A nice set of tools. I didn't need any of them, as it turned out, so we left the cart in the hallway where it remained until well after we checked out. The hallways needed a good vacuum, and there was clearly some unfinished repair work going on.

Recommend for a break on long journey

Comfortable room, decent breakfast, with amenities like a fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool enhancing the stay experience, and the free parking made it convenient to explore the city.

The front desk staff were cute, even offering us water upon arrival. The hotel was clean, and we appreciated the early check-in option, which allowed us to freshen up after a long drive. Breakfast area maintained a clean environment. The lobby décor felt inviting and was comfortable were good.

Some aspects of the room showed signs of wear, such as the carpet that was quite buckled.
